Dr. Sundaram attended Duke University as an undergraduate where she graduated with distinction. She continued her academic scholarship at the renowned Boston University School of Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Sundaram completed her Internal Medicine training at the California Pacific Medical Center as well as a fellowship in Rheumatology at the renowned University of Pennsylvania – Perelman School of Medicine.

Dr. Sundaram is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has authored research publications in social psychology as well as improving medical outcomes in patients with rheumatic diseases.
