What You Will Do:
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to leadership.
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, ensuring all logistics are arranged efficiently.
- Support the planning and execution of special projects and company-wide events.
- Facilitate the physician credentialing process for both new hires and current medical staff.
- Monitor and manage all physician licensures and renewals, ensuring compliance with state and regulatory requirements.
- Track and maintain continuing medical education (CME) records for all physicians.
- Completes patient disability requests in a timely manner.
- Posts charges and payments pertaining to records requests.
- Coordinate utility setup and related operational needs for new office implementations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational support across all office locations, including building maintenance, cleaning services, and facility repairs.
- Maintain a centralized directory of location-specific contacts for services such as medical waste disposal, shredding, plumbing, pest control, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly operational and administrative reports.
What You’ll Have:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associates Degree or vocational education preferred.
- 2-5 years’ experience working in a medical office setting.
- 4-6 years’ experience working in an administrative support position.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record Systems (EMR).Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
