What You Will Do:
The Payment Poster performs a variety of administrative tasks that require an in-depth understanding of each insurance carrier’s claim submission guidelines in order to minimize errors and ensure timely reimbursement for services provided.
- Posts payments from insurance carriers via Autopost and/or paper checks.
- Transmit claims to payers daily either electronically and/or CMS 1500 paper claims.
- Work unapplied payment report for insurance and patients.
- Review and hand out any claim edits to the appropriate staff.
What You’ll Have:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Medical Office Experience
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record Systems (EMR) systems preferred.
- Experience with Navinet preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding medical terminology preferred.
Pay Range: $19-$23 an hour
